More Than Just Golf – Building a Community Hub in Evanston

When we decided to go all in on Fairways Lab, we knew it had to be more than just a place to swing a club. It had to be something this town could feel a part of. Something that felt local, familiar, and real.

We’re not just opening a golf simulator lounge. We’re creating a community space. A hangout. A reason to come downtown. Hopefully a new local staple for Evanston.

What We’re Building (And Why It Matters)

Evanston is a tight-knit town with very very hardworking people and a real sense of pride. But let’s be honest—it could use a few more places to gather, connect, and unwind year-round.

That’s where Fairways Lab comes in.

We're building a space where golf brings people together, but the game is just the starting point. Think of it like your favorite neighborhood hangout, just with a few more birdies and a lot fewer weather delays.

We imagine:

• Parents booking a Friday night bay and bringing the kids along
• Co-workers stopping by after a long day for a casual round
• Teenagers discovering the game in a pressure-free environment
• Local leagues, casual meetups, and events for every age group

Again, we're not looking to just open a golf simulator lounge. We want to create a community space.

Downtown Energy Starts With Local Places

We chose Main Street for a reason. We want to be a small part of bringing life and energy back downtown. Fairways Lab isn’t just about what’s happening inside our walls..... it’s about helping Evanston grow into the kind of town where there’s more to do, more often, for more people.

We hope to be a spot that gets you out of the house without having to leave town. A space where birthdays, random Tuesdays, and everything in between just feel a little more fun.

Our Vision for Community Connection

We’re working on more than just simulator screens and tee time software. We're planning seasonal leagues, local business partnerships, themed nights, and plenty of casual events. But most importantly............. we're listening.

We want your ideas, your feedback, and your presence to help shape what Fairways Lab becomes. We see this as a space that grows with the people who use it.

This won’t be some cold, corporate-feeling golf tech showroom. It’ll be something real. Something that feels like Evanston.

We’re locals ourselves, and we’re building Fairways Lab because it’s something we wish already existed. Something fun, healthy, social, and close to home.
